Sacred and Profane: The émigrés who transformed the British art world

Kandinsky’s Jaune Rouge Bleu

Get to know the émigrés who, having fled Nazi Europe, embraced the future and introduced avant-garde European and British artists to the public and press. These pioneering dealers, three of them fearless women, transformed the London gallery scene. Art advisor and art historian Cherith Summers and Sue Grayson Ford, who together co-curated Brave New Visions: The Émigrés who Transformed the British Art World at Sotheby's in 2019, explain how profound an impact the artists’ work made then and now.

This talk will be held in conjunction with our partners at Jewish Renaissance.

Tickets are FREE, but please book your place here.
