The Lyons Learning Project is delighted to present a unique opportunity to study Jewish and Muslim texts. For many years, Sheikha Halima Krausen and Rabbi Sybil Sheridan held joint Jewish/Muslim study workshops based around ‘chavruta’ - the traditional Jewish way of studying texts. Now, Halima and Sybil are ‘reuniting after separation’ and offering a one-off seminar on that same theme, using the story of Joseph and his father Jacob.
This promises to be an exciting and challenging event, focusing on one of the most dramatic stories of our traditions.
